Position & Responsibility
The Production Manager (Systems) is responsible for the entire production and assembly process of engineered vacuum and compressor systems and pump sets in the SIHI factory in Shanghai. This includes scheduling of production capacities, coordination of system assembly according to manufacturing documentation in close cooperation with Systems Engineering, testing and preparation for shipment in order to meet targeted shipping date.


Reporting
The Production Manager (Systems) reports to the Operations Manager China


Tasks
 Takeover and clarification of manufacturing documentation for new orders from systems engineering
 Scheduling of production capacities and production orders (with SAP and/or other tools) to ensure on-time delivery
 Ensure in close coordination with systems engineering that systems are produced according to specifications in manufacturing documentation and contract
 In coordination with Operations Manager setup and realization of production targets and strategies.
 Supervision of system assembly staff
 Maintenance of production equipment
 Control of work and quality in systems production
 Preparation of routing documents for work to be performed in systems production
 Create and maintain a good work environment and atmosphere for staff under your responsibility
 Take responsibility of Safety and Health for staff under your responsibility




Skills / Capabilities
 Chinese national with valid passport and drivers license
 Technical aptitude, with an Engineering qualification as well as experience in pump manufacturing industry, or equivalent industry
 IT competent (SAP / Word / Excel / PowerPoint
