Major Responsibilities:1. Develop and maintain the product line series to meet objectives of the business plan.2. Recommend regional extensions to product portfolio to meet emerging needs of market and business.3. Co-ordinates and prioritizes the design of the regional range offering, management of product line series and stimulates the development of advantaged products.4. Regionally lead process of product selection for customers through core range strategy. Lead survey process to determine product fit for use.5. Responsible for the supervision and direction of the local technical associates in the Coating Lab. Provides inputs and expectations to drive technical project developments for customer.6. Hold presentations for customer on technical/product related subjects in cooperation with the PE’s and regional SM; organize meetings with customers in cooperation with marketing and sales /key account management, in order to discuss product specifications and product/technological developments.7. Create and provide training for regional associates on product technology and application requirements.8. Coordinate with Global Technical Manager on lab projects to achieve efficiency/priority for the business.9. Coordinate with other functions (local labs, manufacturing, purchasing) to determine and establish technical feasibility and product cost as input for the final offer.10. Set Targets to recommended minimum sale price base on best global practice.11. Work closely with Operations on supply chain and demand requirements for Coatings and management of Contract Manufacturers.Criteria:1.Coating technical expert background, with rich experience in either coating formulation or on-site technical support area;2.Proper commercial experience is also required, and preferably with so
