Key Responsibility:
· Understand the Integrity & Controls of PeopleSoft suite of applications and knowledge to grasp DOI’s
· Be skilled in the application functionalities, its various tables/structures/rules to enable seamless systems maintenance and operations.
· Able to clearly understand the process DOI’s and follow the process for creation of chartfield, Clearing of Suspense Account, Edit Combo rules, Allocation tables.
· Understand the reconciliation process to effectively monitor the reconciliation between TP and GL
· Assist the release management team ensuring that relevant application enhancements are understood, agreed before further cascading to the team members.
· Assist in preparing adequate controls to seek self-assurance on the quality and quantity of systems maintenance work carried out by the team.
· Participate in the project initiatives as and when called upon by the Group Finance Systems
· Continuously review all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement
· Follow the steps in the tools that are implemented to measure and report on levels of customer satisfaction
· Ensure other / new team members are trained on systems maintenance and groomed for sustained operational efficiency.
· Working with the other team leaders and across the Finance Shared Service Center functions to ensure co-operation and smooth operations.
· Assist in monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the unit consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements agreed with the customers.
· Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time.
